Rules:

- You must play the race and Battle.net ID that you signed up with
- You must contact your opponent on IRC or Battle.net to play your match
- Everyone must check in up to 30 minutes before the tournament starts to compete or be dropped out
- You have ~15 minutes to start your Round 1 match; anybody that is not present within 15 minutes will be disqualified
- Contact an admin if you are unable to play
- Spectators are only allowed in-game if both players agree
- When in doubt, contact xKillerbees
- All prize payouts will be done via paypal only. You have up to 2 hours after the last game to get with xKillerbees and process the transaction.
- The losers of Round 4 will compete for 3rd place, best out of 3.
- After the match has been played, you must report the result by clicking on your name in the brackets. This will open the Match Page where you can report your score and upload replays. Uploading replays is required to report successfully.
- Disconnects: If a player disconnects, the game must be replayed. If a player disconnects for a second time, his opponent will be awarded a free-win. A win may also be awarded if the player that disconnected was significantly behind at the time of disconnection. Contact an admin if you would like your game/replay reviewed.
- Pauses: You must notify your opponent in game if you wish to pause. This pause should not exceed 5 minutes. Excessive pausing in game may lead to disqualification.
- Bad Manner will not be tolerated. Anyone caught BMing will be warned. Further offenses will lead to disqualification. Any racist, hateful or excessively derogatory language may lead to removal without warning.

- Rules -

- 1v1 style tournament. (One player on purple, on player on blue)

- Players must remain in the mid lane and jungle, exiting will result in immediate disqualification. (Screen Cap players out of lane and jungle)

- Quarter Finals and below are best out of 1, semi-finals and finals are best out of 3.

- 3 bans will be allowed for each player before the match. The person who created the match goes first. 1-1-1-1-1-1 format, back and forth.

- Matches will be played using 'Blind Pick' game mode, players will state their bans in the match lobby before the host starts the game. (Pictures are helpful in case someone picks a banned champion)

- If a player does not show up within 15 minutes of their scheduled match time they will be disqualified.

- Any Harassment of any kind will result in an immediate disqualification, be friendly and mature.

- All matches will require a screenshot to verify who won. Use the website z33k to report the outcomes.

- Everyone will be required to report to the z33k website up to 15 minutes before the tournament begins or be disqualified.

KBG Weekly Game Night

The Killerbees Gaming community is a fairly closely knit bunch, so as a way for us to spend some time with you we have decided to start hosting a weekly game night. Each week we will be spending some time playing different games that you have picked before hand.

The first Weekly Game Night will be on Saturday, January 7th and it will resume every Saturday after that. Weekly polls to decide on what we play the following week will be posted after every game and closed on the Saturday after.

Industrial Rage Map Reset/Updated

Industrial Rage (Minecraft) has finally been updated and reset.

With the addition of 1.0.0 support. We felt it was needed to reset the bugged map and switch around some mods. We now have Advanced Machines and have dropped others.

The update process was a hectic one. We ran into java issues, mod issues etc. Having hard crashes with an error log and no idea why can be a very frustrating thing but we finally figured it out. I do appreciate those members who understand how hard it can be to manage it all and remained calm and patient.

Make sure though to read all new rules and info in the Industrial Rage forum.

Killerbees Gaming is a gaming community and we are now hosting our first official Battlefield 3 Contest and we are giving anyone a chance to participate.

The prize

We are giving out a $30 Amazon Gift Card for the contest winner and two reserved slots in our Battlefield 3 server. (When implemented)

Entry details

All you have to do to participate is join our [KBG] Killerbees Gaming Platoon & favorite the [KBG] Server. No other requirements needed.

The winners

The winners will be picked randomly, you don’t need to be a skilled player to win, simply play in our server when the contest starts and you could be picked to get one of the prizes.

The winners will be announced in the server as soon as they are chosen. The two reserved slots will be updated and the $30 Amazon Gift Card winner must join the Killerbees Gaming forums and contact xKillerbees to get the prize.

If the winners don’t claim the prize within 3 days or if he/she didn’t meet the requirements to participate another winner will be picked.

Draw Date

The contest starts at 7.00pm and ends at 10.00pm (GTM-06). We will choose and announce the winners in any moment during this period of time. The players who are in the server in that moment will be the ones participating.

That is right, KBG is now fully supporting World of Warcraft. There currently is only an alliance guild on Silvermoon operated by xKillerbees. There are plans for events and even a horde KBG guild. Visit the new World of Warcraft forum today to discuss this news!

New Logo / Mascot

Remember a couple weeks ago when we began accepting submissions for logos? Well it appears we have found one that we like and will be going with for now. I love how it gives a sense of charm and character when you look at it. At first I wanted something very clean and serious, but after seeing this my opinions changed. The smile really did it for me. It might alter some as time goes on but say welcome to your new mascot.

Are you able to code for Minecraft? Are you interested in being part of one of the hardest PVE SMP mods to date? Do you like being paid for your hard work?

If you answered yes to any of those, I'd like to welcome you to apply today from our staff application page. This position will require some form of background in Minecraft coding. You also need to be dedicated to the Killerbees Gaming cause.

- KBG Endless Rage Plugin -

This plugin needs to alter the way we interact with the monsters of this game. The biggest problem with the survival portion of Minecraft right now, is once you have built your house, you are forever safe. You can just hide inside your house at night and wait for them to burn in the morning. This leaves a boring experience when it comes to real survival and I want to fix that.

- Mobs that break blocks to get into your house.

- Mobs that can fly over lava pits.

- Mobs that suicide bomb you, even if a wall is in their way.

- Mobs that take 4 hits with a diamond sword to kill.

- Mobs that can summon lightning and many other abilities.

- Super Bosses that are on a very rare spawn that drop extremely nice loot.

- This mod needs to require team work, a lone wolf will not survive.

- A leaderboard so those who kill the most or survive the longest are reconized.

Official Logo

Alright, I think it's time to get serious about this. Killerbees Gaming is in dire need of a proper logo instead of my picture. I also though am busy with other things to do too much research on artists or learn to do it myself. So I am now looking to the community to help me out! I am willing to pay $100 for a very high quality logo, nothing copyrighted. This will be a logo used for official KB forms, including t-shirts.

You aren't an artist you say? That is okay! If you can find me someone to do it and we approve their work, you will get a $15 referral! You basically are the middle man so please only let me know on completed concepts. You are welcome to show them this news post.

Now I need to let you know what I want!

I want it to match the colors on this website.
It needs to have a bee on it. The bee needs to have muscular arms and look tough. It can be a flat design, but you must be able to tell what it is. Here is an example picture for the muscle layout in relation to the bee. The bee will be in the middle with the arms straight to the sides.
It must contain either of these names. Killerbees Gaming / KB Killerbees Gaming / KB Gaming
It needs to be high enough quality to be used on websites/t-shirts/clothing etc

Once you either find me someone or do it yourself, send the concepts to the Logo Submission form located from the menu above.

I felt it was time to begin running events to help encourage the community we are trying to build. With this comes that ever so popular MOTM title. This is rewarded to the community member Ranukano and I decide deserves it after evaluating everyone. This is a reward that will be given to someone who shows enthusiasm in helping the community grow, plays well with others and a great building block in the community foundation.

This reward will also come with some perks.

So far I don't see any issues with the update. Where are you block lag? That's right, enjoy.

You will now though need new mods to install.

I am also looking into adding additional pipes but it's currently being reported of being bugged with BC 2.2.5 so I am waiting. We can thank nallar for fixing the buildcraft pipe bug so no buildcraft items were lost it appears.

Industrial Rage moving to Bukkit

Industrial Rage (Minecraft) will be moving to bukkit Sunday 11-6-2011 at around 10pm -5 GMT. This will hopefully fix any issues we have with block lag and give us a few more tools. Nallar has been kind enough to attempt a fix for the Buildcraft Pipes and it appears to have worked from my initial testing but time will tell. Remember not to freak out if issues arise as we will be preforming backups in case the 'shit' does hit the fan.

We will also be doing the map border purge during this time along with testing hardware upgrades.
